Mailbox Info (archive)

Group of four mailboxes

NOTICE: The Association is updating mailbox/post design options to comply with the City of Woodbury & U.S.P.S. guidelines.

Highland Village will announce updated mailbox post/mailbox placement guidelines in Spring 2024. The primary change is to the post design. The supports for the mailbox/newspaper box must be raised to meet clearance requirements. And the mailbox itself will require additional clearance beneath it to meet U.S.PS. and city of Woodbury requirements. These changes have been advised by the Woodbury U.S.P.S. branch.

NOTE: If your mailbox post is damaged, we do not advise rebuilding it using the current design because all posts will need change in 2024.

In Spring 2024, new mailbox post guidelines will be in effect. All HVHA mailboxes will required to meet the guidelines. The Association may contract mailbox work and bill Lot owners who do not keep their mailbox in compliance.

Detailed information about HVHA mailboxes is provided under the Mailbox Guidelines section below.
