NEXT STREETS: Princeton Bay, Princeton Court
811 crews continue to mark utilities on our Lots as mailbox replacement work is scheduled. Work stopped on the mailbox project when an Xfinity line was cut during digging unbeknownst to our contractor. The Xfinity line is within the easement and was not known to 811 (USIC) when the contractor's approval to start work was granted. FYI, Xfinity's line should be 8-feet back from the street. The line was located within the easement without Woodbury's apparent knowledge or approval and would have happened when Highland Village properties were first built in the 80s and 90s.
Real Estate Addix crews began work on Thurs., Aug. 28. Work started WITHOUT MARKINGS because 811 authorized the installation of replacement posts within the easement between the curb and where the posts are located now.
Lot owners are being notified as work begins on their street. The project completion date is TBD. Construction details are available on the Mailbox Construction Update page. See pictures of work in progress and the new mailbox post design in the gallery.
Interlachen Pkwy. opened Saturday, August 30 after completion of work affecting Interlachen. The water project caused HVHA's irrigation system to be turned off and The small monuments and Highland Blvd. median were not be planted for the 2025 season because of the lack of water & access.
It appears our irrigation system was destroyed during the project dig. Projections on the cost to replace the system are TBD and won't happen until spring 2026. And, Xcel subcontractors cut our power line while digging near the small monuments so the we are without power, for now.
Our 2025 annual assessment was due July 15, 2025. Past due notices & invoices are mailed monthly.
